Now that the Euros have finished it has been remarkably quiet on the blog front. Apparently the last day was good but I would be interested to hear if people enjoyed the event overall.
Next up is Belmont. I am really looking forward to it. Flights and accom is booked - just got to get the shipping sorted and we are romeo done. I have never been to Australia before so we are going for a family holiday for 3 weeks beforehand. I then pack everyone on a plane back to Blighty and can concentrate on the Worlds. I am not sure how many Brits are going but I hear there is talk of a 100 boat entry. At least there will be a nice big course to accomodate them all (and hopefully a nice big line). Perhaps, splitting the fleet might be necessary for a fleet of that size but we will have to see.
Anyway, I hope the 2011 Worlds website jumps into life soon so we can get a buzz going about the event. For me it is not going to be hard to get excited about it - after all I get to leave a bleak British winter and arrive 18 hours later in an Australian summer!
